I have a vintage mechanical (non-automatic) Seiko that's in really great shape and keeping very accurate time. However, when I wind it up it usually winds ok for 4-5 turns and then it stops clicking, almost as though it's not catching, then after another 3-5 turns it catches and winds again for 4-5 turns.
