I need some advice on crowns used in pre war Hamiltons that use the 6/0 movements with a Tap 8 stem. I would like to know what the types are called and where to get them ...if they are still around ??I thinks mainly there are two types A) the ones that are used on the models with a tube attacthed on the case like the "Gladsone & Hastings" and B) the ones that intergrade with the bezel and back of the case like the Dixon & Putnam, they have a sort of sleve that fits over the stem .......c
Hello I was blessed enough to be able to purchase one of these fine rare (130) made in the 19j movement. Has the factory (979-F) movement. Not sure bt I was thinking of keeping it. But then again Im sure theres a collector our there that would love to have it. My watch guys been around watches for 40 years and has never seen one. What do yawl think it would bring? It runs good. Will try to add a photo if it will allow me to. All feedback would be awesome. In my 2006 Watch book it says 2k-4k and
