I was wondering if you could tell me anything about this watch. It was my Dad's and I'm pretty sure he bought it before 1970, or at the very latest the early 70s. It came in a red leather (I think) box. I have found similar watches like it but not with both the date and the numbers 6-9-12 on the face, not even on Omega's own website of their vintage watches. Hello all. I just got my first ever Hamilton watch- the Ventura 50th anniversary automatic model. I got it for two reasons- I have a thing for limited editions and it had my birthdate numer (0027/1957). If not for these reasons, im not really sure I would have bought it- because it has no date and th e hands are not that legible. But overall, Im quite happy with my new baby. I would like to ask for your opinions on this particular model- good or bad. Thanks and looking forward to more postings-
