...as much as I am intrigued by 5131 with it's elaborate enamel dial,I can't get enough of my 5110. The truth is....if I was ever so fortunate to find5131, I would have to sacrifice 5110 to get 5131.....and while I love 5131....I am not sure I am ready to do that sacrifice...(perhaps I should see it as a "writing on the wall" ;).....)
I have heard anecdotally from friends - 2 of them say they never have to manually wind their daily-wear automatic, unless of course they take it off for a couple of days. Just the occasional time reset which they are OK with.One standout is a guy who for a very short time had a used Rolex automatic of unknown history, many years ago, who claimed it would "die on the wrist" if not wound every so often, had to set the time "all the time" - and being in his 20's at the time opted for a nice quartz
