Just won this Elgin in an e-bay auction and it just arrived. I don't know the model name or number. But the stepped bezel reminded me a little of the Hamilton Putnam, one of my grails. This one has a nickel case but does not show a lot of wear.My "winning" bid was $8.20! Postage was $8.50. It was the first time I've ever paid more for the postage then the watch! Serial number on movement dates it to about 1933. Balance is broken but I will have it restored.I still do not have a good refer
