I have my Savitar in front of me but it needs a battery. I have the battery ready to go but I can't figure how to get into the watch. ANy tips for doing this without damaging the case (or my sanity)? Thanks in advance!
Esrange offered up a Benrus automatic in a thread a month ago. I have had Benrus 3 star models on my list for a while but couldn't find a good match on Ebay, so I jumped. A little polish and a crown later:A few case issues aside, the dial is spectacular, the crystal polished up better than average and after prying apart the rusted two-piece stem, it has responded well to a little TLC.Its hard to get a good shot of the movement with that big rotor always in the way.Special thanks to Esrange, Joel
