I was hoping someone could tell me a suitable replacement size crown for this watch. Its a Hamilton 987S? model, I believe 1940s.hamilton.jpg
I bought this Elgin as non-working for repair, the original auction pictures were very poor but I could make out the case shape that i thought was very interesting. The watch arrived today and I now have more questions than before. The dial condition looks almost too good to be original which is probably my biggest question. Is anyone familiar with this model and is it all original? Thanks for your comments. The watch is powered by an Elgin 554 15 Jewel movement with a broken balance staff.P1370
