I must be doing something wrong

Okay, so I bought this new watch winder made by Rotations for my Ball Night Train & Ball World Timer. I let it go overnight and I found that the watches are hitting the glass cover when closed. I tried with & without the pillows. I payed 180.00 for this thing and I MUST be doing something wrong. Do I take it back to the jewelry store I bought it from? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Removing spring bar on 2254

As the title says, i need some help at removing those spring bars from my 2254. I tried it now for more than 90(!) minutes, but with no succes. I post some pics where i don't know what to do anymore.Pulled out the spring bar at one side......but can't pull out the right side.
