Just picked up a watch belonging to my wife's' grandfather. It's a SS Omega dating back to 1974 (engraved on back, presentation watch). It has no model name ie Constellation, Seamaster etc. Just got it back from the watchmaker, it had a complete makeover and is gorgeous. It has a date and has a 563 movement. Question, how in the heck do I set the date??????
I opened up the mail today after returning from vacation, I was excited that my nice antique Illinois GF cushion case arrived! It was in a job lot that I bought on "the bay" and this fake ladies Rolex was included in the lot. This is one of the better fakes that I have seen (as far as fakes go). The date lens is way too magnified, it's quartz, the gold chrome plating is flaking badly, second hand does not sweep, Swiss made is in the wrong spot.
