I am a high school student, and I got my first decent watch, or so I thought, for Christmas last year.It is a Relic brand from kohls. It is already losing time, the second hand doesn't line up with the markers, and I am planning on returning it.So, for my purpose of this thread is to ask, are Nixon watches worth the money? I have inherited my grandfather's wonderful NS Watch from the 70's . The problem is that it was designed for a mercury battery and that is of course not going to be very fruitful. So 2 questions,1st : I put in a 1.5 volt cell out of ignorance and it of course didn't work. Is it totally fried?2nd : I have seen a lot of information on mercury battery work arounds that end up lasting only a week or two. I was wondering if someone had come up with a better solution then changing the battery every we
