Hey guys,I hear bits and pieces of news that Seiko Japan has re-introduced hi-beat 36K and 42K auto movements this year in their domestic market. Anyone have any more info on these Seikos? I am not sure if it is limited to just the Credor series but I hope it trickles down to mid-price watches. I think 21K, 28K movements technology are just stale. Thanks to Bryan (Coronado), I have these two quite different Webster models, the "newest" in wgf. The yellow example is a later incarnation (1934), with cal. 979 and "normal" female spring bars. The white one is very early (1930) with cal. 987-F, and with the case having male lug pins for female spring bars. Although the dial on the ygf is refinished, it is an enamel-track dial, so the printing is original.
