OK, here is a beautyAn extremely rare 1931 WigWag first automatics, One of my Holy Grails. But COMPLETELY broken, indeed the automatic part (the most important part no?) has gone.I still wanted it, but at $106 walked away?Right or Wrong?OK I wrote my mentor as follows:Strange Things HappenDear Mr XxxxxHow amazing. I was in high school at the time. I repaired electric and some mechanical clocks. This was in Kansas City. I always had a fascination with mechanical objects. Today, after going through the digitals, LED, quartz and so on I wear a selfwinding Seiko. I have several old pocket watches purchased at auctions and a Baylor chronograph wind up (I understand this was made from TAG parts) that I bought in 1970. I will sit back and look at posts and comment if I have anything worth while to add.
