I guess that in terms of new watches, this question would apply primarily to members where the local indirect taxation rate was high. For instance in the UK sales tax is the same across the entire country at 17.5%. In Denmark it's a hefty 22.5% if I remember correctly. (It's on the plane!)Straight out of the box:As you can see, it needs a little polish but nothing too bad. As long as there are no gouges and dings it's not a hard job at all. The backround behind the logo is a little more worn than I thought too. The dial & hands appear to be excellent beneath the scuffs & scratches of the crystal (which will get buffed out). The tone of the gold is much redder than the camera can capture....but coming from the land of Dracula what did you expect? :
