I have this old G-Shock DW5600E. Recently I opened it up for a battery change and ended up losing the gasket. I found the gasket and re-lubed it, and put it back in. But the screws were striped from the wrong size screwdriver, things like that, so I took some screws from another watch that I don't wear and put them on tightly. A few days ago I was washing my hands and some water leaked in, causing the display to fade away. So I opened it up and took the module out and let it dry for a few hours.
Although the answer should be obvious that you match your buckle color to your case, and I have done that with all my watches.And I know this is just a matter of personal taste, but what about matching the buckle to the strap and not the case.So this would be in instances of black or charcoal watch straps where you have a black PVD/DLC buckle but your case is not, such as SS, tungsten even bronze.I have tried this but I am not sold on the idea, but it sure would open up some idea's for my black
