Dear Watch Lovers,dear Watch Manufacturers (from the conservative to the most crazy ones):It still does not exist in the market !ACCURACY: according to COSC, a mechanical watch should not lose more than 4sec/24 h nor gain more than 6 sec/24 h. Best of best may have half of theese values. But a simple US$-20,- Chinese quartz piece is more accurate. There are still high-quality quartz movements, tested by COSC. They are up to 100 times more accurate. One of this should have our perfect watch.
Two Rollies that I'm jonesing for are the old SD and either the GMT IIc or the Explorer II.Does the Explorer II have the same crown positions and do they set the hands in the same way as the GMT II? I'm familiar with the GMT II's setting protocol as it's the same as my Omega Great White GMT.The lack of a movable bezel is not a problem as I've never had to track more than two time zones at a time. TIA.
