I've been eying vintage Hamilton watches for the past 5 years and am now seriously considering a purchase, however I'm worried that the nature of my work will cause undue pressure to the watch (I do factory work and constantly move my hands). Can any one clarify if constant/excessive hand movement will negatively affect the watch's mechanics? Also, if a vintage watch isn't suitable for wear at work would a modern automatic be okay?
