What are your thoughts on a choice between an Omega Planet Ocean and a Rolex Submariner LV (the green bezel 50th Anniversary)? I love the PO for its design but find the 25,200vph too jerky on the second hand. The LV has the new maxi dial and hands and a very smooth sweep at 28,800vph, which is cool but not sure the Rolex brand is a bit pretentious?
Hi there,Four weeks ago, I bought a "Die Fliegeruhr UTC" from IWC. During the last four weeks, the watch has stopped running twice. I needed to manually re-wind it to make it work again. I wear the watch on a daily basis and only take it off at night. Is this normal? I assumed that an automatic watch never needs to be wound manually. The power reserve is supposed to be 42 h, so taking off the watch at night should not be a problem.Thank you for your help,Martin
