Apologies if this seems a blatantly stupid question but here goes. I've always loved the Ventura and decided to track one down. Starting with the Hamilton site there seems like there are only a few models (I'm guessing they only show current models). The problems start with model numbers ie some sites pics don't match serial numbers. Cutting a long story short I've tracked down model no h244510 and been told sometimes it ends with 731 omitting the last 0. Can anyone tell me what this watch 
I recently got a line on a Gruen Veri-Thin Autowind in a "junque" shop in New Orleans. It's dirty, needs service, but it does work and keeps time. I have a reference book coming, but I may have to move fast on the piece.
