I recently obtained a very nice Hamilton RR Special with a 505 movement. The watch did not have a battery clip; however in my spare parts I had one. The seller ever without the battery clip did test it with a battery with a wire to make a connection and it did run, They were correct however they did not run it if for a long period of time.Many times you hear of 500, 501, and 505 movements that run for a while then stops. Typical this problem is the result of the Shock Resist Jewels on the Balanc
In honor of the first snowfall/flurry (:eek:) here in Chicago I thought it would be interesting to see which watches with white dials members favored.I am also leaning towards a white dialed watch for my next purchase so I was also hoping to get some ideas from all you guys (and of course all you ladies are also invited to chime in).I'm reeaaallly liking the Omega "Great White" 2538.20 But I would love to see (pics pleease ) some other white dialed watches
