Just came back from the Riviera Maya for (Canadian) spring break. The weather was beautiful and the whole family had a blast. Unfortunately, I was so relaxed, my brain wasn't working and I packed my compact point and shoot camera in the check in luggage. I know, I know I should have just carried it, but my brain was on holidays too.Anyways, I land back in Canada and notice that my bag has been rummaged through. Everything was a mess in the luggage. I think nothing of it and assume that they did 
I have been given this Longines Autochron. It is in a 14 karat gold case. Probably purchased in USA around 1969. The only words on the back are "14 Karat gold" and "Use 1175 Wrench".Longines Gold Watch.jpgIt ran for an hour or two when I received it but will not now run although I have worn it for long enough to wind. Is it worth spending about 80 Pounds sterling to repair it and should I entrust it to my local shop?I am also puzzled about how to change the date without winding the hands round
