The SEIKO 6309-7049The story of my 1st horological romance, a watch that I saw and longed for day & night without cease, which then finally became mine and has been to this day some 30 years later, through this journey of WISdom.I was just 18 and freshly out of High-school and I then enlisted into Military Service, it was around midnight near the end of Summer 1980 and I found myself being hustled off a bus at the US Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) at Parris Island S.C. by this Drill Instr
