Hello,I am new to WTF and Longinesa complete newbie.Up to now, my experience has been limited to Rolex and Panerai.Recently, however, I've become interested in smaller vintage swiss automatics.I just purchased my first vintage Longines and would like to learn more about it.I checked the sticky thread for decoding Longines reference numbers, but I'm still having trouble gleaning information about the watch in terms of reference number, model name, production year, etc.Any and all recommendations 
I have a 96�� Omega Seamaster Bond 2531.80 that needs an overhaul. Am I better off sending it to Omega or is there a service center (I heard Nesbit in Seattle) that I could send it to? The tip of the second hand (red) has faded along with the lumination on the dial & hands.
