One of my watches with this movement has stopped auto-winding. Neither wearing it nor leaving it on the winder keeps it running. When I wind it manually it runs perfectly and all chrono functions work properly. I can hear the rotor spinning when I shake the watch but it's not winding the mainspring. Before I bring it in for service (which is expensive on a chrono) has anybody had this problem?

This model first appeared in the 1965 catalog and continued until the 68/69 catalog. It is unique in that, with the Whitney, it is the last "new" design to be included in the Medallion line and receive the 770 movement.The listing said that it was new old stock After it arrived, it is clear that the watch was owned by somebody for a while, but
