Vintage 50's-60's Benrus 'Shock Absorber' wristwatch. USA or Swiss?

I went to a few flea markets today and picked up a new watch!This was sitting in the bottom of a little display case. Everything was 50% off, it was originally 15$, so I got it for 7.50! Not a bad deal IMOThe watch works great actually. I wound and set it, and it seems to have kept up (might be losing seconds, I don't know). It's in OK shape overall. The dial is great and the front looks fine, but the back has some BAD case wear The band is a Speidel, as usual. Do you think that 8$ went to somet

Need identification (50s Omega)

Hi I got this watch from my father. The only info I got is that it was bought between 1952 and 1956 and also my father says that this was one of the first chronograph watches of omega however I doubt it. Any help would be appreciated because I couldnt find any info about the watch on google after couple hours of research. Thanks a lot.
