I'm planning to get some winders as I'm tired of resetting watches or wearing certain watches when I don't really want to just to juice them up. I'd like to get 3 heads probably and I suppose Orbita is the defacto winner as it seems to be regarded as very good if not perhaps even the best.It seems they make 3 different machines for the job. Programmable. Sparta (weighted) and the Casetta (same as programmable?). Currently I have only Rolex oysters so I think 650 turns per day is right for me
While perusing the web for articles and such on watches I came across an October 2007 review of nine dive watches by Watch Time magazine where they tested dive watches by Breitling, Certina, Doxa, Fortis, Mido, Oris, Sinn, Tag Heuer and Uts.A few of the watches were affected by extreme water pressure but the biggest surprise to me was that the Breitling crystal shattered under extreme pressure.
