This watch has a different type of regulator (incastar). The adjuster "wheel" has a + and - on it and it is suppose to lengthen and shorten the hair spring that is squeezed between a roller and the roller on the adjuster wheel. OKbut it doesn't. The very end of the hair spring looks like it is attached to a post but if that is so how can the hair spring move back and forth. Some help here would be great. Thanks. Here is a pic I got surfing of the back side of the regulator.
I recently purchased a sizeable lot of vintage, NOS mineral/glass crystals. I'm currently looking at some decent vintage NOS lots of plastic crystals. My question is, how much would it affect the value of a watch if it has a glass crystal versus a plastic crystal, and would it deter you from buying a watch if it had a glass crystal instead of plastic? Just looking for others thoughts on the matter. I'll reserve sharing my thoughts until later. :-) Sent from my Xoom using Tapatalk
