My Y serial Sub is from late 2003, so it's about 6 years old and probably ready for a service. It run a tish fast, but consistent, although out of COSC specs. The case is nicked and scratched up pretty good. I wear it as my beater watch. Any reason why I shouldn't use a local independent watchmaker who has (or had, but currently has a large inventory of parts) a Rolex parts account? I finally picked up my SMP 300M today!I have to say, without the manager present the crew at the Manchester, NH Jared store are a bunch of...uh...provide less than excellent service. I'm going to have to go back because they gave me the box for a Planet Ocean (PO embossed cleaning cloth, 3 year Co-Axial warranty hang tag, and COSC Hang tag, oh and wrong serial number hang tag...) and my warranty card isn't filled out.
