Currently I have four automatics: 2 Miyota and 2 Swiss movements. I noticed that once they have run all the way down the second hand on the Miyota��s start ticking with the slightest rotation of the watch. The Swiss, I believe the movement in both are 2824-2, won��t start ticking until they have both been manually wound, no matter how many times the watch is rotated. Once wound both the Japanese and Swiss keep great time. Just an observation. I don��t know if it means anything.
