Just got my Benrus alarm watch I won on eBay a few weeks ago back from the shop, all shined up and polished on the inside and outside.The dial looked really good and we decided to leave it as is, but the rest of the watch, while in great shape was just plain dirty. One added bonuses is that it still has the original crowns.It is gold plated (which is still all there), but it came with a silver Spiedel band, which I exchanged for a black leather strap with a gold buckle.My best guess is that it 
I have a Hamilton khaki field watch 38mm case with the ETA 2824-2 movement. I got it at a great price but the rotor does not move without giving it a fairly hard shake. The watch winds by the crown and it keeps good time. Do I dare take it apart and try to fix it myself? I also wonder, do I have to worry about overwinding the watch by the crown? I love the watch and it's the best automatic I've owned.
