bezel seems to easily removeable, actually i dont know why it is removable. takes away from watch quality. dont get it twisted though i still rock it like the best of them..

Tag 1000 Repair - New Dial Feet

Hi AllMy Tag 1000 which has been going strong since the mid-80s has finally had its first major issue. The face has slipped round in the case. When I pull out the crown I can still adjust the time / date, albeit the date seems to be a little off center. This is an early 980.13N model.Based on some research in the forum it sounds like the dial feet have broken or possibly the stem although I think it is the former. Think I may have done well here - but if only I could tell green from gold!What I think I have is a 1931 Square B Plain with 987-F movement and etched dial no. 65. Gold filled case and bezel. If it's natural gold then this is one of 2,193 made. However, if it's green gold then it is one of 263. I'll assume natural gold fill unless proven otherwise. Making a wild guess that half the production run had the etched dial then this is one of about 1,000 examples. All for 111 bucks!!ebay image, my
