I received my watch on-time and in perfect shape from [WEB](I try to make sure -ticket items are from [WEB]). The watch is beautiful and works great--I only wish I could afford another watch--maybe an automatic. The watch is absolutely a great value on [WEB]; though, you will not get the warranty card with it. In my opinion, the extra $500-$600 that you'd spend from an authorized dealer just for a two year warranty is not worth it. The duct is a quality duct that will likely not malfunction within two years, not to mention that often will not honor the warranty, claiming that the damage is from excessive force, etc. If you did need a repair done within two years (or any time), they are relatively inexpensive even at authorized repair shops/dealers.

Seamaster line out of production?

Someone told me that finding a Seamaster 300M Chrono new is hard to do these days as they are no longer in production. Furthermore the entire line is out of production.Is there any truth in this or is someone trying to sway me towards another manufacturer? Thanks in advance.

Hampden wrist watch ID help needed

I have this beautiful Hampden watch which has no model number marking on the internal watch works. The 14K case is inscribed with "APEX CASE -hampden 434116. Please notice where the words " SEVENTEEN JEWELS" appear on back of watch works. (in a different location from other models). I am hoping that this case info and pictures will help someone identify this watches model # , year made and history. I have not attempted to wind it until it is inspected proffesionally.Thanks,.....blrk100
