Here's the quandry: there's this cool watch a friend of mine from another forum has. It's a wire lug conversion of an early 20th century Waltham, and the width of the opening for the strap is 16 mm. It came on a nylon NATO looking strap but that isn't classy enough for it. I've seen a few leather straps with all sorts of grains that can wrap over the wire lug and then get clamped down but I'm looking for alternate suggestions in case something out there is worth checking out.
