I bought this new in the late 1980's. It was my first nice watch, and I paid full retail of $395 - seems like a lot now for a quartz without a sapphire crystal! It doesn't have a second hand, which I sometimes prefer on a quartz watch. I like the moon phase feature on this one, I think it's classier looking than a lot of moon phases. Alright, so Ive read most everywhere that these cape cod cloths are the best thing to use on polished stainlessyet I am still very hesitant. I want something I can use to polish the bezel on my Hammy, but the scratches that exist there are very light. VERY light. They are all hairline, and I assume they are from coarse threads inside my shirts, or who knows!
