I've had my SMP 2531.80 for going on 4 years and usually it runs great for about 7 or 8 months and then it starts running too slow or inconsistent from day to day. Mostly it just slows down to -8 or -12 seconds and then it's back to the Omega AD I got it from for readjustment and sealing. Now however it's been running +8 to +12 seconds a day and two months after the last readjustment I brought it back and asked that it be made to run within chronometer specs again. This AD has had this watch 
I have read in several posts about people who have swaped bezels from orange to black or vice versa...it was mentioned by Scott D in "to orange or not to orange" thread where he showed that he swapped the bezel from orange to black for teh winter months. That seems like a great way to get some more versitility from the beautiful watch. I just received my very own orange/orange PO, and was wonder if you can do the the bezel swap yourself, or do you take to to you AD, or just a competent watchs
