So the Memovox is under the knife now. I have the dial to try a little clean-up, and the rest is getting the spa treatment. Thought I'd share some pics, and a nice turn of luck at the end of this post.Some dial close-ups:Worst case scenario is that it goes back to Le Sentier so they can work their magic on it. The caseback is in good shape, and this is an uncommon model - stainless back with a solid 14K case.Of course, if you have the caseback off you have to have a movement shot, right?Wait 
I have a Miyota watch that has suddenly developed a problem with the minute hand. Sudden movements make the minute hand move on it's own as if it is loose. Is this something that can be fixed, or am I stuck with a bad watch now. I hope that I may be able to repair this problem since this watch has some sentimental value to me.
