I'd really like a quality dive watch that I'm not afraid to take diving, yet one that will travel and wear for years to come. Love the Lum-Tec and Red Sea watches (perhaps once the student loans are cleared), but for some reason, the Divemaster just looks and feels right. What do you think? Can I do better? Can I do worse? Nailed it? Is it worth springing the extra coin for added functionality in the automatic or chrono versions?
I don't want to offend anyone but to me, Rolex watches have always seemed greatly overpriced and over valued. I mean, is a $5,000 Rolex really 10 times better than a $500 model from another another maker of quality watches or 20 times better than a $250 one?
