Question regarding the JLC Master Calendar Moon (function of sub second hand)

I am thinking of getting a JLC Master Calendar Moonphase. (the attached is provided solely for reference) But as I look at the dial, I notice something that gives me pause.Does anyone know how this subsecond hand functions? I haven't found anything online about this.The dial goes from 0 to 29.5 which would suggest a lunar month. My question is this: Does the subsecond flyback to 0 at the end of the month? Or is this really a subsecond hand with no chapter marks on the dial? If that is the c
