Hey guys, just picked up a Hamilton. I figured I share some pictures. I bought the actual watch from a pawn shop and the strap from a jeweler. I think brown strap goes well with the gold tone case. The crystal has some scratches on in but I don't mind too much. It's an automatic but for some reason when I shake the case I can't hear anything moving. I'm hoping this isn't a problem. I'm not sure of the year. I'm sure one of you can help me out in that department...
My Wife's Movado 87 A1 845 suddenly had its gold dot come loose from the 12 o'clock position. It is rolling around inside the crystal. Guess the epoxy or whatever adhesive they used failed. Is this something a watchmaker could fix, removing the crystal and readhering the gold dot? Any idea what a fair price would be for this type of repair? thx.
