I was close to making a final deal on a Breitling Chronomat (circa 1995-1996), which would be my very first Breitling purchase ever, when I noticed something about the caseback logo, a photo of which I am posting here. I've always thought the spacing between the case and the spring bar/strap on my watch seemed a little much, which was switched from the factory bracelet to a leather band. Recently came across some interesting info which may explain the issue. Any truth to this?"If you buy the model on a leather strap,the holes in the lugs for the pins are closer to the case...so the strap fits close to case with a very small gap. The same watch on a bracelet has the holes for the pins further away from the case
