I have always been a fan of fine timepieces but could never really afford to start a collection. Finally, I have a few extra bucks. I thought I would try and stay in the sub $1000 range to find what I really like in a watch. I have a Tissot PRC200 and a Magarette on the way. Considering a Lum-tec (need a tough, sporty watch) and a Hamilton. I think that will give me a nice starting base without breaking the bank. Then, I can go from there. Any advice is appreciated.
