Greetings - A few rumors have been floating about with regard to some of the last run of the Pepsi GMT II's popping up with the normal Roman II in GMT II done in a different font (looking like sticks instead of Roman I's) and also having the GMT IIc movement inside. I'm hearing stories of Rolex reps hoarding them and collectors buying them as soon as they see them because they're quite uncommon and expected to rise in value. True? False? What say you?
I'm wearing this today:Supposedly it is a Russian mechanical chrono, though I suspect the movement is Chinese. However, I have been told by experts it is a Russian movement. So my question, which might be better suited for Asia, is which do you think is superior - Russian movements or Chinese?I'm on the fence on this one. Educate me, guys!
