Hey Everyone, just managed to find my way back here after a pretty tumultuous year, personally.I lost my job in February of last year, turned 50 in July, got separated in August, and moved to Portland, Oregon in November. The move required that I sell off some beloveds, including my Martin D40 guitar, my "grail" Planet Ocean 45mm, my EL WTF LTD (which I plan on replacing as soon as I can; LOVED that watch) and some other odds and ends. I still have my Oris Williams F1 and my Ball Engineer Master
I posted this in the Omega forum, but figured it'd be good to post it here too.I stained the clasp of my speedy reduced with a couple of drops of etchant. This darn thing's job is to actually stain the material, so this little drop marks won't go away unless they are buffed out. I was wondering if you guys had any advice on how to fix this without messing up with the engraving in the clasp. I'll post a picture soon. Also, do you have any watchmaker recommendations in Chicago ?? I'd like a pro to
