Hello,I am a brand new virgin to this forum, and I could use some assistance.I just purchased from an auction a PP 2506-1 10-200 movement. The serial No. on the movement is 745xxx and the case back sn. is 690xxx which would place it at around 1949-50?What is unusual, or at least from what I have been able to determine, is that the movement lacks a lot of inscriptions such as no. of jewels, , adjustment info, etc. I will try to post a pic of it here if I can figure it out.Everything looks identi
I recently brought my Explorer II into Torneau to send it out for a full service with Rolex. I assumed and was told that the watch would be serviced by Rolex themselves, and that it would take about 8 weeks. To make a long story short, I got the watch back in about three weeks and was very unhappy to find out that Rolex did not do the service, it was done by Torneau, and that the watch looks horrible because they polished the bezel and made it look fake, because the bezel should look brushed!!
