The watch lived up to my expectations ! Works perfectly, - I especially like that the solar cell charges the battery. Temperature sensor is accurate under cold conditions only if you take your watch off momentarily for a few minutes as the heat from your arm effects the measurement.

1931 Elgin with a Stepped Case & Strange Dial, 17 jewels.

Hey guys!I picked up this 1931 Elgin at the NAWCC Mid-West Regional last week just because it just looked so odd to me. I'm prone to buying watches that I haven't seen before. Can't say that I've ever seen one quite like this before. I believe the dial to be original to the case simply for the fact that the dial is gold and silver (with black accents) and the case is gold and silver. The very top of the bezel is gold with some light scroll work but the rest of the stepped case is a silver tone b
