I don't need fancy, cheap/fake wood is fine, leather is fine, I just need it to hold 6 watches and sit on my night table. A display window would be nice, but also not necessary. So far the best I've come up with is something in the $30-40 range at Amazon. Are there other comparable or even less expensive options elsewhere? Thanks in advance!
My brother (who knows about my passion for vintage watches) told me about this listing and I picked up this item a few weeks back:Now, you're probably looking at it and thinking "that's a wierd looking pocket watch". It's actually a stop watch - sterling silver case and from approximately ca. 1890 or so. It is working and looks to be in remarkable condition (at least to me). What's interesting about it (again to me) is that it was apparently produced to commemorate the trotting stallion "Axtell"
