A friend of mine��s uncle passed away recently and left her, as she put it, ��a crap load of watches.�� She knows I like watches and said I could have my pick. I didn��t want to sound greedy and said if she wasn��t going to find use for them, I would take one. I asked if she knew what kind of watches they were and she said, one is a Rolex. I told her she could sell it and she said she would rather I had it. Here is a wrist shot. I��ve love the look, but I have that ��it��s too good to be true�� feeling. 
I was in a watch repair shop today looking at the vintage display case and noticed a watch with no name.The owner told me it was Swiss Made in the 1930s when watches were often sold with no brand name on the dial."What's important is what's inside"...I was assured.Is this correct? Why would quality Swiss manufacturers, proud of their brand, turn out an anonymous product???
