I went thru this forum and searched with "identification" and "vintage" without success. I have a watch and i want to know more about it. I don't want to sell it although it doesn't run at the moment and will need to be repaired so I can wear it.I'd also like to know how to take the watch apart enough to see the movement. It is a rectangular mens watch with "Hamilton" and "D72" on the face. It also has 14K Gold Filled and S&W on the back and 1/20 14K on the band. I've gotten the movemen
I have been trying to get my hands on as many Hamiltons as I can afford........and this is the latest .......it for sure needs a new crystal.....and I have yet to see how well it runs as the first thing I did after I took incoming photos, was to remove the nasty band that was on it .....and I have just finished traisping through the catalogs looking to see what model it is .....and I think......it's a K-419 from 1961.......it is very hard to tell a real watch from a drawing ...so I am hoping if
