I've had my SMP 2531.80 for going on 4 years and usually it runs great for about 7 or 8 months and then it starts running too slow or inconsistent from day to day. Mostly it just slows down to -8 or -12 seconds and then it's back to the Omega AD I got it from for readjustment and sealing. Now however it's been running +8 to +12 seconds a day and two months after the last readjustment I brought it back and asked that it be made to run within chronometer specs again.
