Can't decide... Rolex or GS?

Am thinking to get either a Rolex GMT2c or a Grand Seiko (the GMT SBMG003 or maybe the dressy classic white or cream dial ones ideally with blue hands). The Rolex & the GS both cost about the same I think; or the GS might actually be a bit cheaper.If you had to choose one over the other for yourself which would it be? I know I should get the one that speaks to me but I can't decide. Also I would be lying if I said it didn't matter to me what kind of social signals each sends out (which are?
