I need information on this vintage Benrus.

My father worked for the Quaker Oats company in Chicago. During WWII he was liaison with the Army, helping to develop freeze-dried food for the troops. He was given this Benrus by the Army in appreciation of his work. The emblem on the front says "The Quartermaster Citation". The back has serial #666929. It also came with a printed citation award, signed by Col Rohland A. Isker. I'm guessing it is from 1945. Does anyone know anything about this watch. Is it worth anything? It runs, but unfortuna

I am interested in acquiring a Breitling chronograph (currently new to Breitling, I recently acquired a ss/gold Headwind), and have narrowed my choices down to:Chronomat (Chronomat Evolution)Super AvengerChrono SuperoceanAvenger SkylandBlackbirdI really like the Chronomat, but I am confused as to why it costs significantly more than the others listed (with the exception of the Blackbird).Can anyone tell me why it is quite a bit more in cost than the others?
